Direct replacement 12 volt PLGR (Planetary Gear Reduction) starter motor for the RT40 ride-on trencher equipped with the F3M2011 3-cylinder oil-cooled naturally aspirated diesel engine. Clockwise rotation with 9 tooth spline drive. The F3M2011 engine produces 42.2 HP gross (39 HP net) from 2.332 liters (142 cubic inches) displacement with direct fuel injection. The RT40 is a mid-size ride-on trencher with 4x4 hydrostatic drive, maximum trench depth of 63 inches, and 4,200 lb basic unit weight.
