Great shoes, but lacking on latest designs.

I was really excited when Curry 1's came out. I purchased the MVP's and Underdog themed shoes. I haven't bought any since. I think the themes chosen have been lacking and the colors don't relate to the theme. They need to get back to basketball for example "Game 7" or "Cold Blooded" or "Dagger". This has much more of an appeal to what Curry is and what he does on the court. When people wear those shoes, then they relate to hitting "Daggers" and putting everything on the line in "Game 7".

Don't believe the hype!

Let me first say that I've reviewed several under armour products over the years. I call them like I see them. I've given one star and I've given five stars. My reviews are honest. The Curry 3 is the best under armour shoe I've ever played in, a true performance beast. I am a conditioning and shooting coach for basketball players of all levels, including high end division 1 and NBA players, so I decided to put the curry 3 through a brutal workout today. I will divide my review by categories. 1). Fit. I'd say the shoes fit very similar to the curry 2, except the toe box is roomier. I bought a size 11 in both models. I wear an 11.5 in the clutchfit drive 2 and these shoes (size 11) fit nearly the same. Midfoot lockdown is incredible thanks to the slightly asymmetrical lacing system. Heel slippage is non existent thanks to the combination of materials, lacing system and expansive heel counter. I would stay with the same size you wore in curry 2's 2 ) Cushion. Think halfway between curry 1 and curry 2. The curry 1 model had great court feel, but was dead after minimal use, providing little cushion or bounce back. I found the curry 2's more forgiving, bouncier, but also not as responsive and higher off the court. The curry 3's are a perfect blend of both. The shoe softens up after about an hour of use, both in stiffness and cushioning. The cushioning does enough to soften landings, but doesn't disconnect you from the court. I really liked the cushioning here. Like I said, perfect blend. 3) Traction. The traction on the curry 3's is the best aspect of the shoes! In fact, I've never worn an under armour shoe with traction this exceptional. Combined with the perfect blend of cushioning and the superior lockdown fit of the shoes, the traction makes this shoe perfect for explosive cuts and stopping on a dime. I can't say enough about the set up here. Great traction and the rubber looks sturdy. 4) materials- love the threadborn upper. It loosens up nice, but is still very resilient, holding you in the shoe when making cuts. Love the little extra room in the toe box, allowing toes to move but still be locked in place by the threadborne upper. Anafoam is also used on the medial side of the shoe, enhancing the lockdown and comfort. It should also be noted that the Achilles area and the entire ankle is very comfortable, as there is a healthy dose of cushion surrounding the area 5). Looks. I have the black and camo pair. The cut looks better on your feet than it does on the computer. Trust me, lots of compliments here. Design also looks better in person. In conclusion, love these shoes. The traction is secnd t none, and the fit is glovelike but comfortable. Pick up a pair and give them a spin. In my opinion they're the best currys yet. Good job under armour!

Curry 3 Shoes

I absolutely love these shoes they are very comfortable and I could definitely be on my feet most of the day and my feet would be fine. The cushioning in the shoe is very good and allows my feet to feel comfortable. Also the shoes are very lightweight which helps when on court for speed and jumping. The only downside I would say about the shoe is sometimes when I'm moving around on court or sprinting sometimes the shoe doesn't feel as snug as it should. The width is a a small problem but makes the shoe more comfortable at the same time.
