i love this table. it's just the right size and looks really nice. It's also optional to remove the plastic in the center to place the umbrella into it. the glass is thick, but not too thick. it's also not too heave and easy to assemble

Assembly tips

Nice table but; have a rubber mallet ready. Legs don't want to fit into the slots. I used a butter knife as a "shoe horn" to spread open the rubber/plastic slots they go in then simultaneously pounded the legs in. After that, as long as your not blind looking at Chinese assembly pics, not bad. A couple minor mistakes but easily figured out. From getting open all the packaging and checking parts and assembly and mistakes, about 1 hour of "monkeying around". By the way, I'm a 75 yr old female. Not a bad job for an old broad, age means experience!
