String of Hearts, Rosary Vine, Ceropegia woodii: Ceropegia woodii, String of Hearts, also known as "Rosary Vine" is an iconic houseplant. It grows in lengthy "beads" of leaves on long vines. Some call it "Sweetheart Vine," as its leaves are heart-shaped. These sweet leaves spill out of pots and hanging containers on long, thin, cascading vines. This easy-to-care-for plant is drought-resistant, sun-loving, and long-growing, making it a favorite of plant lovers. Its vines grow up to 4-feet long-- sometimes even longer! Dark green leaf pairs dot the vines about every 3-inches or so. They are decorated with a deep green color when given sufficient light. Under insufficient light, they will turn a pale green. It requires excellent draining. Only water when dry!
