it doesn't look like it would keep you warm but i can tell you when that wind is blowing cold air outside! you are warm. of course this is coming from a florida girl who hates the cold so i can't vouch for it in real weather conditions like northerners are used to lol

These are nice, for the price. They are acrylic, so don't dry them. I have the green plaid and have washed it on cold and line dried it, and it still looks good, but you can tell a difference between it and the new pink plaid I just bought. The green looks a little more marled than the smoothness of the new one, but it still looks nice. I got the pink one on clearance, or I wouldn't have bought another one.
