Mr. Wong in Chinatown (DVD), Film Detective, Mystery & Suspense

Boris Karloff returns to the scene of the crime as the ubiquitous Mr. Wong. This time, a beautiful Chinese woman has sought Wongs help but ends up dead in his home, killed by a poison dart! She turns out to be Princess Lin Hwa, on a clandestine mission for Chinese forces fighting the Japanese. The only clue to solving her murder is a crumpled note with the name Captain J scrawled across it. For Wong, that might be enough! Also starring Grant Withers and Lotus Long, this potboiler from director William Nigh (Black Dragons) is a fine entry in the Wong series.
