This extension cord is excellent. It is definitely "heavy duty" as I wanted the safest, sturdiest protection that I could get to hook my new hybrid car up to a battery maintainer as I evidently don't drive enough miles to keep the car's tiny 12 volt battery charged. I had other "orange" extension cords but this one is "heavier duty" than them which made me very happy. The ends are also covered with strong plastic coverings to protect damage. It stays "stretched out" straight when lying on the floor and being bright yellow, we see it easily when walking around the car. This was a great purchase.
