I'm useing this to help remove rust from old tools and horseshoes....not for laundry. This bag should last a long time considering how little I need. One issue. It didn't fully disolve in water but rather clumped together. I don't know if thats not the case with making detergent, but for my needs, it's not that big of a deal.
