There were no extra blades included in the package. My husky needed his head trimmed because of a scratch. He is scared of clippers, so the description of this device sounded like the perfect answer. First off, it at most trims a miniscule amount off the length, but it does not actually cut the hair. After 30 minutes of torturing my pooch with stay still baby we're almost done, we got a safety razor out and made a teeny bit of progress. A couple of days later, I decided to try it again, maybe if I hold the hair this way and kinda saw it, or put in a bit more elbow grease, it will work. Surprise, the blades (there are two long skinny blades, they slide inside facing outwards, so both sides of the two sided comb is able to "cut") are rusted. I don't even know how that happens. But yes, they were rusted. I scrubbed the rust off and rubbed alcohol on them and thought I would try it but then I thought what if my boy gets lockjaw? How does a husky even husk with lockjaw??? Anyways, learn from my lesson, don't buy this. Well, if you have a naked mall rat, it might work.
