The color was a perfect match for my bathroom counter top. I bought the light color. A soapy cleanup with warm water easily washes any makeup off. I like to spread my makeup out in the morning when getting ready for the day, and this sink topper gives me plenty of extra space to do that, helping me to get ready faster. It has a little area where you can still turn the water on if needed and it won't disturb the layout. I haven't cleaned my makeup brushes on yet, but I can tell it will be good for that as well. Love this sink topper! Before I got the sink topper anytime I had my makeup bag, makeup items, comb, curling iron or any other items on the vanity top, something always ended up in the sink or on the floor. With the sink topper I have plenty of room for everything I am using. It also keeps small items from falling in the space between the end of the vanity and the shower wall. Wish I had gotten this sooner.
