The Mission Impossible TV Series is a real treat!

I remember this show from yesteryear and wanted to have it in my collection. It's so well-done. The writing is tops, the actors...wonderful. Watching these episodes is a real treat. The DVD is in excellent condition and plays without any glitches. To date, I have ordered the first 2 seasons. I will surely order several more in the immediate future. In short, order this show and enjoy!

A "must have" dvd set for Mission Impossible fans.

All I can say is, if you are a Mission Impossible fan or more specifically, a fan of 1960's era film and television you must add this second season of the original television series to your dvd collection. The series, imho, was before it's time in many ways and what's impressive about some of the episodes is the attention to detail that was given to dialouge, wardrobe, props, and lighting and set design. The screenwriters also strived to keep the material believable and relevant. Barbara Bain adds a bit of spice to the M.I. cast as Cinnamon Carter and it's a pleasure just watching her throughout each of her scenes. Martin Landau was cast as Rollin Hand during the first season and Barbara Bain, his wife in real life, was offered the role of Cinnamon Carter prior to Landau being offered a role. Bain went to producers after being hired and negotiated the role for her husband, Landau. Barbara Bain received 3 Emmy's for her performance on the Mission Imposible series and she and her husband stayed on for 3 seasons of Mission Impossible. They left the series together in 1969 as the result of pay and compensation disputes.
