We own two of these. One for our daughter (she uses it has a drawing tablet -- she is 1.5 years old) and one for my wife and I. We use it to write notes, create lists or sometimes fun. Honestly, technology is so advanced now that something this simple truly blows me away.

Such a neat toy. Hi-tech without being too hi-tech. It stimulates kids' creativity without overloading them with distractions like tablets/digital gadgets do. The display is bright and colorful. It is easy to write on, no need to put too much pressure just to show each word. Then pen included is good as it's not too sharp and not a hazard to younger kids. I like that it also has its own little holder included in the item. One critique is I wish it had an on and off button so it wouldn't have to use or drain the battery when not in use. Overall though, this was such a cool gift to give to kids!
