Fantastic for sealing sensitive sensors!

My primary reason and choice to use for Permatex Optimum Black was to create a gasket for my Toyota MAF sensor on a warped plastic air filter housing port where the sensor seats. It is critical to have a seal that is airtight and Optimum Black provides me the luxury of accomplishing that need. It is sensor safe, but the key reason is that I'll be able to remove the sensor to clean it in the future because this particular product is easier to remove than every other silicone sealant of this type that I know of. Application, while tedious due to the nature of my task, was easy and above all, successful. I'm so grateful that Permatex offers this product!
