Use Hydrox hydrogen peroxide to clean minor wounds and abrasions as well as for first aid. Hydrogen peroxide is an antiseptic that can be put on to shallow wounds, burns and scratches to help avoid infection. It may also be effective as a mouth rinse for certain minor conditions. When this hydrogen peroxide topical liquid is added to the infected area, hydrogen peroxide antiseptic releases oxygen for healing. Foaming is caused by the release of oxygen, which helps to remove dead skin and clean the area. Deep cuts, animal bites and extreme burns should not be handled with this medication. It can be used in hospitals, clinics, doctors' offices and at home by first responders. This hydrogen peroxide in a 1 gal bottle has a strength of 3%. Dispense the solution into smaller containers if needed.
