Introducing a new stretch belt by BESTA, makers of the original Betta Belt. The latest creation features a low-profile side-release buckle, an adjustable slide and a stretchy one-and-a-quarter inch wide elastic strap. This stretch belt was designed to incorporate all the best features and functionality of similar style belts into one superior offering. This new elastic belt is quite different than the original Betta belt, best suited for people that value the following benefits.
Our new proprietary side-release buckle is only 7mm thick. That is barely more than a quarter of an inch! This keeps a low profile, so the belt buckle does not bulge under close fitting shirts or similar garments. The side-release buckle snaps shut easily and can be released quickly by pressing the top and bottom buttons simultaneously. The buckle width is only slightly more than the 1.25" strap, and the rounded end threads through pants loops more easily. The logo was placed on the inward-facing side of the buckle to maintain a clean outward appearance.
The stretchable strap is high quality woven polyester elastic, which gives it strength and resistance to the elements. As mentioned, the elastic strap is slightly narrower, and it is also a bit thinner, so that the belt won't be too thick where it overlaps at the adjustable slide. Please note, this elastic strap is more stretchy than our thicker belts, but comparable to other belts of a similar style.
The metal slide allows you to adjust the belt length to the perfect fit. This, combined with the elastic give, provides comfortable support for your waistline. The slide is round on the ends, so that it won't poke wearers in the abdomen, like slides with a movable metal pin can. While technically not metal-free, no bare metal is exposed, and the minimal amount present is unlikely to set off metal detectors.
