Color Tango Permanent Hair Color - 6BB Dark Blonde Intnese Brown

First of all, please IGNORE the review titled "Horrible". This client does not include one very big pertinent detail: what color was her hair to begin with? Did she know that color can't lift color so if she's brunette placing a blonde tube of color on her head isn't going to give her blonde hair nor is lightening it and then trying to "tone" it. Just ignore that review as it has NOTHING to do with the product and everything to do with user-error. I have always had a love for changing my hair style and color since I was a sophomore in high school. The perfectionist in me has been asking questions since my first professional hair coloring as to how this or that happens and why this or that doesn't happen. I took my love for all things beauty and made a career out of it. Due to a car accident that removed my ability to stand for any length of time, unfortunately my days as a colorist have set sail but I still love coloring my hair, my friend's hair and family members. As many have said, this is an excellent PROFESSIONAL product that give PROFESSIONAL results as long as one has the basic understanding of the chemical reaction that takes place when coloring one's hair and the absolute basic understanding of the color wheel, you'll be in great shape! Remember this: color CANNOT LIFT COLOR! No matter what the color on the box says, no matter what customer service tells you if you call to ask how to do your own hair and no matter what, if you have brunette hair and you are wanting to go lighter, you can't just put a "blonde" hair color on your head and voila, you have blonde hair. It just doesn't work like that. Also bear in mind that just because this product is available at your local beauty store doesn't mean that you don't have to know what you're doing. I love that this formula doesn't drip, it's a very masque-like consistency which for me, assures that I have adequately saturated the hair and that the result is going to end up even instead of spotty or develop inconsistently. I also love that this is an EXCELLENT product if you want to Balayage or are going for an ombre effect. This product will allow you to do both with an excellent, vibrant and healthy look and feel result. I also love that this is a 1:1 ratio so I don't second guess myself on my math or if I'm chatting with my client, I don't get carried away with color and/or developer. Nothing worse than having to toss perfectly good product over a completely avoidable mistake. (such as running my mouth! *wink*) If you are looking for a product to handle, saturate, be vibrant and leave your tresses or those of your client's shiny, healthy and soft - this is your product!!!
