Wild Country 235/75/15 a really good tire!

So far (3 months in) I'm very happy with these tires. These are on a Jeep XJ Cherokee. I looked high and low on the internet for the 'right' tire for my application and these were the perfect fit. My 'wants' in looking for a tire were: 1) OWL 235/75/15 that look great. My Jeep XJ isn't shiny as new ....but these wheels look good, and a spiffy set of OWL tires makes it look a lot nicer than it otherwise would. 2) Good winter snow tread. I use this vehicle for plowing snow in the winter. I'm finding these are working geat. Tires with big lugs aren't great in snow. Neither is a 'street' style tread. The tread blocks on these are spaced out a little more than a typical all-season tire to trap snow. Snow on snow is what gives good snow traction. And these do work great for that. They should also work well in mud although I haven't tried that out yet. 3) Tread blocks which go ALL the way down to the carcass! These have that (see picture). Some mfgrs play a 'trick' and have a raised rubber area between certain tread blocks. Therefore after 60-70% of tire-wear the tire will be smooth in those areas ...i.e. reduced traction and safety. Then you have to replace them before they're worn out. The tread blocks on THESE tires go ALL the way to the carcass and they will still have some useful tread even when they are worn down to 25%. You get your money's worth. Also the tread blocks are deep. These definitely met this criteria. So overall these tires excel in all the areas I've mentioned above. I haven't noticed excessive highway noise, and the compound seems a bit softer than other tires I've got, which, again, aids in good snow/winter/summer traction. I can plow snow like crazy now with minimal tire spin. When I DO get stuck these tires just 'chew' through the snow and get me out. I think they would be great for mud and rock climbing and desert running too. For strict highway use they might not last as long as, say, a more all-season type of tire. But, for my use, I couldn't ask for more and at this point I am totally satisfied. I might buy another one for a spare. These were delivered quick to my home and I had Walmart mount and balance them. Nice thing is they don't charge to mount, if you bought them from Walmart. Of course balance/disposal, etc there is a charge for. A couple tires took 5-7 oz of weights which is a little on the high side, but they run nice on the road, no complaints. The tire techs did a great job cleaning corrosion off my aluminum wheels so they seal well now and (presumably) long in the future. Price-wise these tires are right where they need to be for what they are, and considering shipping was free. So there you go, that's my honest review of what I know so far.
