Good optics, loose fit and poor balance

Optics appear to work well. However, there is a looseness overall and the bracket for connecting to a tripod does not provide for a balanced camera/lens system. Also the lens says it is 62mm for filters, however, the 62mm filter I bought does not fit. Finally, there is a ring to fix the optics at a chosen zoom, that ring does not appear to work in the unit I was sent.
