I used it for the rubber stripping on the bottom of my laptop where it was pulling away on the edges and was annoying, The rubber strips are very expensive on every website ive seen. So i did some research and came across this. I used a widget on my phone to "measure " what I needed I miscalculated the size . This was too small however I used double ( 2 strips ) and that worked. It has been several months now and the rubber strip is holding on strong and not peeling. It is kinda of hard to separate the tape from itself but there is a lot on the roll so you can cut and start over. You can reposition the tape if it isnt straight I did a couple of times like 2 and it hasnt had a problem sticking. I was sick of dealing with the peeling of the old " adhesive " for about a year now glad I was able to find a solution
