Grease (40th Anniversary Edition) (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy)

Not that I am the authority on musicals but I've seen my share and Grease for me ranks right up there with Singin' in the Rain and Broadway Melody of 1936. They all share memorable music and dancing throughout. Grease looks amazing on the blu ray included here. I had thought about buying the 4k but in most of my experiences I cannot tell much of any difference between the two, except in certain films, so the extra cost is not worth it. I love the little 'yearbook' look but I wish it had been longer, something like what Freak and Geeks did with their incredible yearbook release. The pairing of Olivia and Travolta is truly magical. Even though most of the 'teens' in this film look much older, I never cared and I never will. I love this film, the music, the characters. It's one of the greats.
