I bought this because the sale price was great and it cute. Never heard of a 'shacket' before so had no expectations. It's a GREAT cool/cold weather jacket. I've been looking for just this for several years- something I can use for a cooler Autumn by itself and over sweaters in winter. It's lined so it's pretty toasty. This shacket took me by surprise. I thought it would be a topper that I could wear indoors or out. It is too heavy for that. It's an actual jacket. I'm not complaining, just making an observation. The jacket is heavy and beautiful. I got both colors and I'm glad I did. They're both so different from each other. The jacket is true to size. Highly recommend.
