Shut off the water supply to the toilet tank to prevent water from refilling while the cleaner is in use. Apply the Cleaner: Open one 8oz single-use packet of the cleaner and carefully pour the contents into the toilet tank. Avoid getting the cleaner on your skin or in your eyes. It’s a good idea to wear gloves during this process. Wait: Let the cleaner sit in the tank for the recommended time (usually around 15-30 minutes) to allow it to break down rust, mineral deposits, hard water stains, and calcium buildup. Scrub if Necessary: For stubborn stains or buildup, you may want to use a toilet brush to gently scrub the tank after the cleaner has had time to work. Rinse: After the wait time, flush the toilet several times to thoroughly rinse away any remaining cleaner and dissolved deposits. Reopen the Water Supply: Turn the water supply back on and let the tank refill. Flush a few more times to ensure everything is clean and clear.
