It says its clear. Its very visible above water, slightly translucent under water. Fish could see it but i only fish salmon . They dont care. You could use a rope and theyd still bite. When we fish bait we use 40lb mono leaders because of their teeth. With plugs we tie braid straight to plug. Never had a break off with 30lb braid. Wet,its pretty much indestructible. We only fish smaller size salmon plugs on it . The plugs run deep on this line . Not because of low diameter ( thats a myth ) but no stretch. It makes them dig hard. This line lasts forever and will not fade because it has no color to fade. Oh, and it can be used on old rods with guides not rated for braid. If you cast lures with it, put chapstic on it a few inches above your lure so it doesnt tangle.

This line is the best line that I have used. Strongest 10lb braid out there.
