This solution is an essential part of your blood glucose testing routine and works exclusively with TRUE METRIX Blood Glucose Meters and Test Strips. Our control solutions are recommended before using your system to perform a first blood test, when opening a new vial of test strips, if blood results seem unusually high or low based on patient's symptoms and condition, if a test strip vial has been left open or exposed to extreme heat or cold or humidity (we recommend a replacement in this case), whenever a check on performance of the system is needed, and if meter damage is suspected (meter is dropped, crushed, wet, etc.).
