Use the OneTouch Ultra control solution every time you open a new vial of OneTouch Ultra blood glucose test strips. If you get repeated unexpected blood glucose results or if you drop or damage your OneTouch Ultra glucometer, use this control solution to test the results. OneTouch Ultra Control Solution contains a known amount of glucose and is used to check that the blood glucose meter and the test strips are working properly. Control solution tests must be done at room temperature (68–77°F). Make sure your meter, test strips, and control solution are at room temperature before testing.
