Super thin and printed in only 1 yard bites.

Ugh! The ONLY reason why this product gets ANY stars is because I LOVE the pattern and color! Everything else about it is just awful! First... do you see the white band in the photo... you would think that is a selvedge edge, right? NO! The fabric is printed in (roughly) one yard pieces, with this white band between each yard... so, if you wanted more than one yard at a time, you would still only get it in one yard bites. Luckily, I only wanted one yard. Second I ordered the Poplin, which in my mind is usually a little thicker than the cotton you might buy for quilting. No. This piece of fabric is super-thin! Thinner than any printed cotton I have ever bought! I am not sure that it will be suitable for the project I had in mind for it. It was shipped from China (or some other Asian country) and took forever to get to me, but that time was stated in the estimated arrival time, so just be aware that is will NOT show up in a few days like most Walmart orders. On a positive... even after a first wash and machine dry, the piece of fabric measures 40" x 60". They at least left enough leeway to allow for shrinkage. And I do LOVE the pattern. It is super cute, which as I stated earlier, is the ONLY reason this gets any stars at all!
