Lola Angle Broom 12" Head Recycled Bristles Polished Aluminum Threaded Handle

I was pleasantly surprised by this broom. At first when I saw the broom portion, I thought the recycled bristles weren't stiff enough to sweep well. It was very easy to assemble, and I used it to sweep my kitchen floor. It was very lightweight and did a good job. I then tried it on my living room rug which gets a great deal of traffic from me and my pets. I was amazed at how much dust, dirt, litter and cat hair it removed. While it won't completely replace my very heavy vacuum cleaner, it will limit the number of times I have to pull it out in an average week! The assembled broom is taller and has a wider head than my old broom.

When I first ordered this broom, the package arrived damaged and had clearly been resealed during transit. The handle was missing and the broom head had been smashed. I contacted the seller and within 24 hours I received an apology and confirmation that a replacement was already on the way. The new one arrived quickly, and once I put it together I was excited to try it out. I have to say, this is now my new favorite broom. I really like that the handle unscrews so it can be packed away easily, but when it's assembled the handle is solid and sturdy. The broom head is made from recycled material, which is a big plus for me. The bristles are slightly splayed at the ends (see the photo), which helps pick up fine dirt and dust, especially useful in a house full of pets. I was a little hesitant about the plastic bristles at first, but now I'm completely sold. When the broom gets dirty I can simply wash it in the sink and it comes clean again. Great design, easy to maintain, and very effective. This has definitely become my favorite broom.
