I have 2 of these. One long one (50 ft.) for draining my jacuzzi and the water being able to reach far into the back yard. I also have a shorter length (25 ft.) which I use on my patio to water me plants, vegetables and herbs. I prefer this hose over any other because the sun can't damage it.

Hoses have evolved quite a bit over the years, from rubber, to vinyl, then lightweight expandable, and now these lightweight metal hoses. Rubber hoses were great, but they are heavy and can leave marks on pavement. The vinyl hosed and the lightweight expandable hoses rarely last more than one season. Now, these lightweight metal hoses seem to have solved the problems of the other hoses. They don't kink, they are lightweight, and seem to last longer. I have had this hose only a month or so, therefore I can't vouch for its longevity, but at least it won't suffer from sun exposure deterioration. Although it doesn't contract, it is easy to use and store. I would buy again, and probably will.
