Parts aren't designed to fit together

I purchased this stool while it was on clearance for about twenty dollars. I thought that I was getting a good deal. But I quickly discovered that even twenty dollars is too much to pay for this stool. The stool is attractive so it would be a good stool if it was designed properly. The instructions are incorrect. And the parts don't properly fit together. If you do buy this stool make sure all your parts fit properly before applying the glue. Walmart sold me an open boxed item so I can't return it even though the item itself is defective which is seriously unfair to say the least. I'm really upset that this stool wasn't designed properly because I wanted to place it in my living room as part of my room decor. But it looks silly because it wasn't designed properly. Really upsetting!
