About 10 years ago I had to give up drinking coffee because it was too hard on my stomach, so I decided to switch to a high caffeine black tea. There were several different teas to try and I went through a lot of them, some as inexpensive as the Lipton and Red Rose of my childhood, and others from more exotic places. However I still hadn't found something I couldn't wait to get up for in the morning. Then one day I saw an Internet ad for Tiesta Tea and sure enough they had a breakfast tea, so I ordered some. And I waited for it to arrive and when it did I made a cup right away and there it was. The flavor I was chasing! It's delicious, it's mellow, and it never gets too edgy, but that caffeine lift is still there. Now I drink my tea "Grandma style" with milk or cream and sugar as my friend says, and this tea is perfect for that style of enjoyment, or my husband has it black and says it's still great. If you love black tea, give this one a try. I promise you won't be disappointed. The mellow flavor and gentle caffeine bump will get you ready to face your day just as well as any coffee.
