Swann SWDVK-849804-US 8-Channel 4980 Series 5-Megapixel DVR with 2TB HD & 4 PIR Bullet Cameras

I have had Swann Security Systems for over 10 years, and I have watched there Apps and tech get better and better with the years, I brought 2 new DVRs to up grade my 8 camera systems, along with the tech to Google Home them, with older cameras in place along with pan and tilt ones, they both intergraded themselves easily, allowing me a better system and to upgrade cameras when needed, Google Home is not a easy set up and I'am still trying to get that to work, but over all, worth the purchase.

I recently purchased this 5 mp CCTV camera system for my home due to some local break in attempts, thought a camera system would be more of a deterrent than an alarm system. The system is very easy to setup, the startup wizard takes you through all the steps and the included quick start guides are clear and helpful. Installing the cameras is easy, simply decide on the location then screw into place. The hard part is getting the wires to the camera. I have a new build house and the insulation consists of shredded paper, which is very dusty and hard to know where the joists are. However I managed to get the cables through and its now all setup with the box linked to the internet to view the footage on both phone and iPad.
