I purchased the Toyo R1R's for my 2001 Mazda Miata that I use for autocross (STR Class), and during the first run with the new tires, I shaved off 3 seconds off my time on that very first run of the new season. A great handling tire I.M.H.O., but for the record, I do not run these tires outside of autocross racing, so as of now, I cannot comment on wet conditions, and certainly not winter conditions. The folks as Simple Tire are really nice and professional, and I know I will go back and gladly do business with confidence and with them again, not only for performance tires, but also for my other "daily drivers", as well.
