Really nice hot water dispenser with easy to use controls. It provides hot water 24/7. Everything is labeled clearly including the direction to empty water from the container. The water level is easily visible. A red line shows the water level. Thin line above shows water used. Thick line bottom shows water remained by optical effect. There are four temperature settings: 208. 194. 176, 158 in Fahrenheit (100, 90, 80, 70 in Celsius). It's child safe to dispense hot water. You have to press unlock to dispense water. After 10 seconds dispensing water, it's automatically locked. The water is fairly smooth coming out the spout and it's quiet. It's better to have the cup close to the spout to avoid splash. Energy saving mode saves power after two hours not in use. It drops temperature to 9 degree lower. You can select that by clicking the "Energy Saving Mode" button. Power Saving Timer turns off power for 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 hours. It will start boiling water one hour before the timer. After boiling, it will back down to "keep warm" temperature. The power cord has magnet to attach to the unit easily. The base allows free rotation so you can rotate it to easily dispensing water in any direction although the power cord might get in the way. We love it. Our old Zojirushi unit died recently after more than 10 years. I only wish the insulation is better to save even more energy when the outer shell feels warm to the touch. Thanks to Walmart, I got the unit in 2 days with free shipping. I would prefer a little more protection during transportation.

I bought this product at end of May 2018 and received it at first of Jun. (delete date is later than promise). I am really not happy with the (Tiger Electric Water Heater/Warm Modem PIF-A30u). Only using 4 months and I find internal coding defect. At bottom part of the Pot starts growing brown spotted. I am following the manual and get clean acid from Tiger store with monthly cleaning schedue. I don't how to cause the brown spotted. Because it is only bought with less than 5 month in warranty time. I called the custom support (phone number list in manual) No one picked phone and left phone number ask call back but never received call back. I may call 3 or 4 times finally reach one support. After conversation with support I feel I am being cheated. Support told me that you should not use tap water for water pot and it is only work for soft water. Tap water may cause the brown spot. I tell support her I didn't see any water restrict in your product manual. If that case the pot is not fit my home. I need to pay shipping to mail to Tiger corporation of U.S.A. But if tap water is caused the damage for hot water port. Ever it is fixed and will be have same issue later. Be careful this kind of pitfall. If your home is not able to soft water system, you need to concern weather the Tiger hot water pot fit you or not.
