Safety Shackles

The new album is an interesting and contemporary mix of indy rock, new folk and electronic music. The main composer Sean Goebel describes the album as, 'my best, most heartfelt work to date.' Goebel wrote most of the lyrics in what he calls an 'expressive style,' where the thoughts and feelings of the composer are transferred instantly to the paper without consideration. Good Question created an album to reflect the times and their personal experiences, something unique and far from dull. The band was influenced by The Decemberists, The Provincial Archive, Imogen Heap, The Dirty Projectors, Daft Punk, new Chemical Brothers, Radio Head, Metric, Muse, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Shearwater, Stars, and Broken Social Scene during the creation of this album. The band has completed a music video for the song 'Take a moment' (The video is currently available on youtube). Sean spent five years at the University of Calgary studying music composition and refining his craft, he graduated in 2006 with a BMUS in composition. Sean has played for a variety of groups ranging from big bands to corporate cover bands all over the world. The group has toured across Canada, Southeast Asia and China.
