Damien: The Complete Series

I noticed that there was a new movie out The First Omen so I bought that and decided to get the whole collection starting with the original Omen movies. I bought this collection used and one of the discs froze up in a certain spot but rest of the discs worked fine. It is good to refresh the memory on the older versions and with the new movie- it all brings it together in the story line. It all makes a good collection to my movie collection.

This series represents how drastically the quality of TV has declined in less than 10 years. Damien is a well made, well written, and well acted ( especially leads Bradley James and Barbara Hershey) show. It is not an easy task to produce a quality dramatic series that makes the anti Christ a character you can admire for his courage and empathy for those in pain. There are some gruesome moments that are necessary to emphasize the continuing battle between good and evil. Damien is well worth watching and highly entertaining for anyone who still appreciates compelling drama.
