The only brand that works for me

For about two decades I've been taking 100 to 200 mg B-6 daily in addition to multivitamin. The daily additional B-6, for some reason unknown to me, helps to keep my nasal passages open. Without the B-6 daily, they eventually (in a week or a few weeks) will get stuffy again. I've tried other brands of B-6, but the only brand that helps me is Nature Made.

Relief for Carpel Tunnel Syndrome!

I have used B-6 100 mg. supplement for over thirty years to control (not cure!) my Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. When I first developed this painful and debilitating condition, the medical community did not have a treatment or even a name for it. When it finally became a recognized condition, Reader's Digest ran an article suggesting vitamin B-6 as a good method to relieve the symptoms of tingling and numbness in the hands and fingers. I tried it and allowed it to build up in my system for about 30 days before seeing any results, but when enough had accumulated in my body, it was a lifesaver! The optimum amount is 100mg. taken once a day for me. Higher doses are not recommended. I have found it to be a great alternative to surgery which several people I know have undergone without much relief. After trying several lesser brands, Nature Made definitely delivers the most potent product, and even though it is somewhat more expensive, the amount of help it provides is well worth it! Be sure to keep it in a cool, dark place (like the freezer) or it will deteriorate quickly even just at room temperature. Bonus: Studies have shown that taking B-6 regularly offers protection against mosquito bites and lessens breast pain during the menstrual cycle! I can testify to the truth of both of these things. The key to using this as a supplement is regular use. I have noticed a big difference if I've stopped taking it for as few as 3 days. And then it takes another few days to rebuild up, so try not to run out of it!
