More of an oversized comforter

I already have this and I am buying a spare. I have a queen size bed but I use a bed skirt as this is not large enough for a standard bedspread. I would say that it is more of a oversized comforter. I have to add that I have a pillow top mattress so my bed is higher.

Darker than photo

This Waverly comforter set is beautiful and well made. However I had to return it because the colors didn't work for my bedroom. The background is not white or even off white. Actually it is a medium beige color.
