We had a bigger thermos already but wanted a smaller one. This 1.9 Ltr thermos keeps cold for over 24 hours without any problems. Hot remains intact for 12-14 hours easily.

Really good Thermos but the tin exterior corrodes!

Great Thermos made with an old-fashioned glass internal thermos that really keeps things hot. I can brew my coffee in the morning and enjoy it all day long; coffee stays hot all day long and into the evening. This is my second purchase. The outside casing on the first one purchased 4 years ago rusted right through. The outside is made of cheap tin with a fake painted aluminum finish. The tin gets wet over time and rusts away. My first one started to get rust hole perforations at the base where the water accumulates over time (from washing and heat). The screws holding the outside casing finally completely corroded and the casing gave way and came apart. I would it give it 5 stars if Thermos replaced the outer casing with a real aluminum or plastic material that doesn't rust out!
