Augason Farms 2-Week 1-Person Emergency Food Supply Kit

this is 14 lb of emergency food, but I expected when it said 2 weeks for one person it was individually packed. all the packages are eight serving packages this will not do in an emergency for one person because all the packages only contain the directions for making the full package. so for a single person you are still going to need eight days worth of refrigerated storage for this if you follow the directions on the package. so you're going to have to figure something out if you're looking to have emergency food for one person for 2 weeks. and hurricane Irma my power was off for a month and a half and the same in the hurricane before it actually I think the one before it my power was off 2 months. it comes with one package of dehydrated bananas for snacks. of course the one package is 8 servings. most people would not have opened this up until the emergency happened. it is an awesome price for what it is and it's an awesome selection. I will be buying it again. but I'll have different expectations to next time.

I wrote a review just because there was one guy who complained this is meatless. You know I noticed mine didn't have any gold bars which was a major let down. Price per pound, price per calorie, price per gram of fat this kit is hands down far superior. People want things for nothing. The problem with society. I wouldnt expect it to have gold or meat in it for this price. So do yourself a favor please go look at the price of dehydrated chicken. Its an extremely expensive item. I can see the guy now ripping the bucket apart looking for dehydrated filets. Get a grip. I personally own 500 lbs of augason farms food and have tried them all. This is the most important thing you can ever buy, especially if you dont have a lot of money to spend. Grocery store shelf items expire. Its a guess if you purchase that trying to be prepared. This takes the guesswork out which is another huge savings. 30years of preparation in a single easy item.
