Totes Kids' Bubble Fashion Umbrella

I have seen commercials for the inbrella on television and I liked the way they looked and they seemed more useful than a regular umbrella. Then I met a woman who had just gotten hers and it was raining really hard. She told me she loved it. A few days later, I ran into a friend that had one--and again it was raining--and he told me that he thought it was great--no getting wet when he got into his car. I immediately bought mine. So far I like it but I have not used it in the rain yet!

I love that this comes in so many patterns. I bought the Clouds pattern for myself, the Zodiac pattern for a friend, and the Flower Garden pattern for my friend's mom. I love how whimsical the designs are. The Clouds pattern reminded me of a similar (but much more expensive and much more flimsy) umbrella that I saw for sale at an art museum in New York City. My friend loves astronomy so the Zodiac pattern was perfect for her, and my friend's mom is a very classy lady so the Flower Garden was a very fitting choice for her as well. It makes a great last minute gift because it's so quirky and it's something they can actually use. My only complaints are that since this isn't a compact umbrella, it can be a little cumbersome to carry around, and I wish it came with a button to open as well. The button that's on the handle can only close the umbrella shut. I'm glad it came with instructions taped to the handle, otherwise it would have totally bewildered people why the button on the handle doesn't work for opening the umbrella.
