i would recommend this for back to school purchases. It's a great size for people who will want a new case for Christmas. From the way it's made, I think it probably won't last that long. The outside is made from (to me), a thin vinyl. I'm pretty sure it'll be pierced with a sharp pencil. The zipper is good, but it frequently catches as it's being closed.
