Best appliance in the house

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used to have a samsung washer and a Siemens heat pump dryer. At the time, it seemed fine, but it was only after we got the Samsung combo washer and dryer did we see how much friction was involved with previous process of washing our clothes. Now we put in dirty clothes, walk away and 2.5 hrs later we have clean, fresh clothes. My wife has said its the best appliance in the house. What a game changer. We are eagerly awaiting Samsung's robot which will fold the clothes and put it into our drawers.

The "Fire and Forget" of laundry machines

I love it. This is the fire and forget of laundry machines. Because it washes and dries, and is chock full of features to complement that fact, it is a godsend for starting a load at night, and waking up in the morning to clean dy clothes, or before work, or, if you’re like me, you forget entirely. I think many people, myself included, worry about the "ventless" dryer, which uses a heat pump design to generate the heat. I live in Florida and have washed a variety of my linens to include work clothes, blankets, towels, and other things in various combinations, and I have yet to have a finished load have dampness leftover. I am not very conservative with my loads, either. I'll have the drum pretty full, and no issues personally. That said, a specific feature this model has probably helps a ton; at the end of drying, there is an option to automatically pop the door open, which likely lets out the last bits of humidity, so I can't say for certain what the results are with this feature off. For those wanting to add something or take something out between washing and drying, there's a setting that will pause the machine in between and allow opening the door. The ai features are nice as well. The machine adjusts its actual time based on readings it takes throughout the cycle, and it's nice and clear on a big digital screen. When used with smartthings app, it is easy to check on loads, get notified when done, and even change some settings from your phone. Plus, the machine is quiet. It's barely noticeable most of the time right in front of it. If it's running in a different room, it's pretty easy to forget it's running. Overall I love it, and for those hoping for a solution to forgotten loads getting musty and stinky overnight in the washer, I think this machine might be right for you.

this is just a really great washer-dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, this washer-dryer combo is a total lifesaver if you just want to set it and forget it. Not having to swap wet clothes over to a dryer is amazing, and you can plug it right into a regular wall outlet without messing with an ugly vent. Sure, they slap the "AI" label on the fancy touchscreen and the wash cycles, but let's be real—it's just smart sensors doing standard sensor things. Marketing hype aside, though, it genuinely streamlines laundry day. Pros - Huge drum that actually fits a king-size comforter without struggling. - The auto-detergent dispenser and the door that pops open at the end mean you can truly walk away. - No dryer vent needed, so you can pretty much put this thing anywhere. Cons - The "AI" branding is totally overblown; it's not thinking, it's just weighing your clothes. - Thick blankets or mixed loads can trick the sensors, making cycles drag on way longer than expected. - You have to be super religious about cleaning out the multi-layered lint filter.
