Moves a lot of air
I bought this fan to use under our pavilion to keep the air moving. I really like the fully adjustable control knob instead of the old 3 position switch, it allows for any setting between a light breeze and gale force winds. The noise level isn't bad on low to moderate settings but on high it is loud but it's also moving about 3 times as much air as a typical fan. Other nice features include the on board outlets and the ten foot cord. This isn't a cheap fan but it absolutely moves a lot of air.

This thing is amazing
I use it in conjunction with a heater for my garage. Point it straight down and plug the heater into it's plug and I have an easy to control air mover/heater. Keeps the ceiling from holding all the heat and increases the temperature in the ground at least 5 degrees. This is running it at ltd than 1/2 speed. At full speed it holds to an air filter system I made and prevents fine saw dust from building in the air. Great buy.
