Portland Boot Company Women's Lug Sole Hiker Booties, Sizes 6-11

OMG, am in love with these boots! I went with basic black but they offer a color variety. Boots are my go-to for style/function but I've had problems finding lightweight boots with a genuine round toe. These are both! Most shoes say they're round toe when they're actually almond toe, but these are genuine round toes. They're perfect if you've had foot/toe injuries before or if you just hate feeling like your toes are smushed together. There is plenty of wiggle room and these boots fit true-to-size, which is awesome! I went with my actual size instead of having to size up. They look heavy because of the design but they're surprisingly lightweight. I love the platform feel they offer, makes me feel taller lol. These also have real block heels on them (heels that support the entire heel and aren't tapered). Most shoes claiming to have block heels have false blocks. They have zippers but I didn't need to use them because of the elastic built into the sides. A good tug and they expand and slide right off. I found it convenient but others might not like that. I don't know about durability because I've only had them a few days, but the material feels good and the stitches look secure. I've purchased other Portland shoes and they've always last a long time so I hope these will too. Overall I really like these boots.
