Tangle resistance and good performance at a great price

This is my second Reflexions rod. I liked the 701Ma so much I bought a 701mLa to complement it. I think they go a bit on the "fast" side (stiff toard the tip) for their rating - thus the Light Action on my second rod. Other than that, a nice rod. I honestly use it along side my Star Plasmas and my Shimano Terramar and do not feel cheated when I go to it. But the best thing about this rod is the guides. They are not super high quality (they will bend under pressure and not spring back all the way) but they are of a tangle resistant design (usually only available on more expensive rods and very important in the inshore environment where you are either yanking your bait out of the mangroves or having Ladyfish spit it out unexpectedly) and they are also nice and long-legged, which I feel makes for smoother and longer casts (better alignment with the spool and less slapping against the rod). So, for a bit over $50 or so, I see this as a no brainer for budget minded folks.
