Majestic Pet | French Quarter Rectangle Pet Bed For Dogs, Removable Cover, Navy Blue, Small

I bought this bed because the description of it said it was water resistant but that isn't the case because the first day of use one of my dogs just happened to get sick (from getting a bag of biscuits off the counter the night before and eating the whole bag,) and she threw up some liquid as well as some of the the undigested contents of her stomach. I have a Miniature Schnauzer, and 3 X-large/giant dogs (Newfoundlands) that need XL/jumbo durable dog beds because of their weight and size as well as being messy with drool. They are big, loving, hairy, drooling, water dogs. I have purchased jumbo sized orthopedic gel-memory-foam beds with waterproof denim fabric as well as having waterproof liners, that are from a small company based out of California, USA — and thought this bed would also make a nice addition. The bed is very attractive, from an American company, a XL size that is good for the breed, and I had thought the liner would be strong enough but it isn't. I soaked up the liquid and cleaned the mess off of the outer fabric, then unzipped it to remove and wash but then I noticed the liquid from the throw up had soaked through to the bedding which isn't protected with a waterproof liner. I ended up taking the bed to a laundromat to sanitize because it's too big for my own washer. I also bought a few bags of poly-fill to add to the bed because it just wasn't full enough. You can actually remove the poly-fill from the bed and wash the liner in an average size washing machine but it was going to take too much time to do that so I just went ahead and washed the whole thing at the laundromat. The inside bed liner is cheaply made and one of the zippers on it immediately broke. I would like to return the bed but not sure if they'll take it back after it has been washed and altered.
