Don't Hesitate!

Plug and play all the way. I was replacing an 8 channel DVR that went bad. Installed the HDD from the original, plugged everything up and followed the bouncing ball - a real breeze. Even the remote setup was much easier than before.

Second NightOwl system and very happy with purchas

I bought this DVR a week ago. Got it in, drop a hard drive in it and let it do the set up. It was an easy setup too. Although I am very familiar with the Night Owl software, I just followed the prompts, took the defaults, and let it set itself up. Nothing to it. This was a upgrade purchase from an older NightOwl analog system which is still working great. My old system was restricted to 1tb drive space but this unit will go to 6tb (I settled for 4TB).
