very lightweight alittle tight going to add a belt extender for comfort. found cylinders needed on amazon. seems like they will work well for myself and my sister. we are senior citizens and love to bank fish and we can't swim so Better Safe than Sorry.

We plan on visiting my sister at the lake this summer, and she has a jetski, so I wanted to get a comfortable yet effective life jacket to use while on our trip. I chose this one because it is an automatic inflatable one; it will be more comfortable while on the jetski not to have it inflated, but if I fall off, it will inflate within 3-5 seconds. I also love the fact that it has solar reflectors and is highly visible at night. There are four nice sized solar reflectors. While I do not like to go into the ocean at night, I love to be on the lake at dusk. I picked the orange color to add even more visibility. You do need to get a CO2 cylinder to go with it, but you can use it more than once if you just replace the CO2 cylinder. I think they are $20 or less. I haven't tried it yet, but the specifications state you can also manually inflate it by blowing into it. There is a red tube that you can use to inflate it manually. There is a clearly marked pull tab for the automatic inflation. It also comes with an orange safety whistle! The life jacket feels substantial; it is not flimsy at all. The velcro is top notch and attaches nicely. The buckle around the waist is easy to operate and clicks securely. The product feels high quality. The fit is not tight or restrictive at all; it is rated for 80 pounds or more. On the side of the jacket, there are directions and illustrations. For me, the life jacket provides comfort and security. I plan to be on the jetski every day during our vacation, and I didn't want to be all encumbered by an inflated life jacket. This one will be there for me when I need it, but it is not in my way or impeding my movement when I do not need it. I'm a bit of a scaredy cat, so this life jacket will provide that extra bit of security I want to feel so that I can relax and have fun, knowing I have a great tool if I need it. I feel it is an excellent price point for the quality and what it provides. After all, peace of mind is priceless.
