Nostalgia comes back in style

This popcorn popper was replacing an older brand very similar in looks, but after numerous years and uses it finally burned out. The wife liked this Nostalgia popcorn maker because it is red and matches some of her kitchen counter appliances. After a couple uses, some comments. We like the off/on switch on the side, as our old one never had one, for you simply plugged it in and it kicked in. But seems like this Nostalgia takes longer to start popping, not sure why. Yes, it does get very hot ...but just a longer wait is all...no big deal. Afterwards the popper is very hot to touch, including the plastic top...so be very careful. We just let it cool down before moving it elsewhere. So that's it...at a great price and value makes it a winner for at home movie night.

Excellent air popper!

I had purchased a silicone microwave popper and was not happy with the yield and it made an awful hot plastic smell. In researching air poppers, this was my choice because of the air circulation around the kernels, helping ensure even heat distribution to the kernels. It also has a toggle switch, something many others didn't. It is a bit louder than I'd expected, much like a hair dryer. After preheating it for 3 minutes, the popcorn was done in less than that! A whole large bowl of very fluffy popcorn. I couldn't be happier.
