I've seen rave reviews for this MAX XT brand 6" brushless sander and their abrasive discs set so I had to get one to try out. So, like a kid at Christmas, I unboxed it and took it to the garage immediately when it arrived and am very pleased with the disc's performance (as well as the sander). The disc removed more material faster and cleaner than regular sand paper and did not gum up and clog the dust intake holes -hence it being cleaner and more efficient. It made my dust extraction system so much more efficient! (I'll always wear a mask to spare my lungs the sawdust, but this was so efficient, I couldn't see particles in the air or on the piece I was sanding). I couldn't believe the drop in vibration from my normal sander using the MAX XT and these abrasive discs --amazing! Absolutely zero hand fatigue after 10 minutes of sanding -and that really matters when you're refinishing furniture -it's a sanding-heavy task. My hands are arthritic so it's even more important for me. The price of this set that includes a 6" replacement backing plate --AND 30 abrasive discs is awesome so even though I didn't need a replacement plate yet, I bought this to have one on hand. The price for the plate and discs was less than I could get at the big box store for the discs alone so excellent value. Overall this is a 10 out of 10! If you're looking for abrasive discs to reduce your sanding time, reduce vibration-related hand fatigue and an awesome value for the price, try the MAX XT disc set with the MAX XT R7303 sander!
